Process - How we work.
We build products, not presentations. So our process is down to earth: understand what is needed, build it small and well, then run it reliably for years.

Understand
Every product of ours starts with a real problem. Often one we had ourselves. Before a line of code exists, we work out who we are building for and what the tool actually has to do.
We talk to the people who will use it: developers, agencies, small teams. What annoys them about the current vendor? What is missing? Where does trust break down? Out of that comes a clear, small scope. One thing done right beats ten done halfway.
In this phase
- Conversations with users
- A clear problem scope
- Prototypes
- Technical feasibility

Build
We build in small steps and ship something usable early. The code runs on European infrastructure from the start, and where it makes sense, it is open. With CamelMailer, for example, fully under the MIT License.
We keep self-hosting in mind from the first line. A product you can only run in our cloud would be half a product to us. You should have the choice, comfortably with us or on your own machine.

Run
A launch is not a goodbye for us, it is the start. We run our products ourselves, for years. With the same standards for uptime and data protection we would expect as a customer.
Support comes from the people who built the product, not from a ticket funnel. And if you ever want to leave, we make it easy: export your data, self-host, done. The way out is built in.
In this phase
- Operations. European hosting, ongoing updates and monitoring, so you can look after your business, not our servers.
- Support. A direct line to the makers. No call centre, no hold music.
- No lock-in. Open formats and a real way out. You stay because it is good, not because you have to.
Principles - Stay small, build well.
We do not chase hype and we do not want to become the next corporation. A few principles keep us on course.
- European. Our servers are in Europe, under European law. Data residency is the default here, not a surcharge.
- Open. Where possible, our code is out in the open. Transparency beats marketing promises.
- Focused. We would rather have a tool that does one thing well than a suite that does everything a little.
- Long-term. We build products meant to last. No quick bets on the next exit.
- Approachable. You talk to people who know the product, not to a support script.
- Honest. We tell you what works and what does not. Even when a “not yet” is uncomfortable.
